I am officially back from vacation, and Caleb and I had the most wonderful time! The Riviera Maya is such a beautiful place, and I can't wait to share our memories with you. While away, we enjoyed zip-lining, horseback riding, visiting Mayan ruins, massages, kayaking, snorkeling, and a whole lot more! It was a much needed vacation, and we enjoyed our time in our little slice of paradise.

Crimson Rosella: Adapting your wardrobe to your vacation climate
Hi, I’m Kirstin from Crimson Rosella!
I just spent a glorious year in Australia and on my way home I travelled to New Zealand and Fiji. The
thing about these beautiful places is that the climate is so drastically different to my home (Canada).
How do you adapt your wardrobe to your vacation climate? Well, that can be difficult when you are
used to lots and lots of snow! I discovered through living in Australia for a year that my style became
more relaxed and simplistic because of the heat. I wore sundresses, bathing suits, flip flops and maxi
dresses.

Let's hope this post doesn't vanish
Let me start off by saying that I really wanted to get this post up last night, but couldn't because Blogger was down. Please don't mistake this for an apology - Blogger is the one who owes an apology to everyone who uses the platform. Having a post delayed is annoying, but it's really not that huge of a deal.
What is a big deal is the fact that I spent a LOT of time and energy on my last post. It wasn't just a typical ol' outfit post, either. I discussed struggling with fibromyalgia and the decision to go medicine free and improve the quality of my life by natural means. It was cathartic to write and make the collages necessary for the post, and I also hoped it would inspire other people to dedicate themselves to taking care of their bodies.

Au naturale: A health initiative
Take a quick gander at this blog, and it'll be no mystery that I created it to talk about fashion and beauty. However, every now and then, I like to get a little bit more personal. Today is one of those days.

One pieces: Suit for any style
One piece swimsuits are something I used to be vehemently opposed to. For years, bikinis have been my swimwear essentials, and I've collected various colors, styles, and varieties. In fact, I once thought that a bikini was the only youthful, stylish, and attractive swimwear option.

Dressing for graduation: Getting inspiration from your major and other tips
We're finishing up the first week of May, and if you're a senior in college, that means one thing: graduation is imminent.
While graduation in and of itself is super exciting, there's one little thing that has the potential to cause some stress: choosing the right outfit. Getting your degree is a huge step in your life, and you want to look your best. But where do you start?
If you're struggling to figure out what to wear for your graduation day, think outside of the box for inspiration and examine your major. You've spent the last several years of your life studying for your major, so why not take some inspiration from it?
Here are some outfit inspiration collages based on college majors...

April DFW blogger meet-up
One of my favorite parts of being a blogger is meeting other bloggers. The fashion and beauty blogging community here in the DFW area has really come together, and I've been so honored to get to know so many lovely ladies. Our most recent meet-up was this past Saturday, and, of course, it was full of shopping, fun, and laughter.
