Working the thrift

I was feeling the itch to thrift the other day, so I scratched it.
I recently became really into belts, and I thought I'd go to Goodwill to see what I could find.  Let me tell you, the loot did not disappoint.

I am particularly enamored with the vintage belt I wore with this outfit.  I love vintage pieces that work seamlessly with the items already stocked in my closet, and this belt does the trick.  I love the way it attaches, and the shape of the hardware is so fun.

Overall, I think the belt really complemented this look.  It added a little something extra to the [already fabulous] skirt, but it didn't compete for attention.  Seamlessness...I'm a big fan of that.

My thrifting experiences of late have been quite fantastic.  I think I picked up like 8 or 9 belts for $2 each on my trip this week, along with a couple of other splendiferous finds.

Have you gone thrifting lately?  Find anything exciting?
